Job Description

We are looking for a Tech Lead / Architect to join our team in Portugal (office-based). This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in building products from scratch, particularly in the gaming or iGaming industry.

You will lead the technical direction of innovative products, working with modern technologies and applying an AI-first mindset to development. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both architectural thinking and active full-stack contribution, with a stronger focus on frontend development.

What You Will Do

  • Lead architecture design and development of game products from scratch.

  • Drive technical decisions and set best practices across the engineering team.

  • Build and maintain full-stack applications (frontend-focused).

  • Integrate and work with gaming platforms and ecosystems.

  • Apply AI/ML tools and approaches to improve development and product capabilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and business stakeholders.

  • Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.

  • Explore and implement emerging technologies (e.g., blockchain, where relevant).

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Software Architect.

  • Strong background in gaming or iGaming industry (mandatory).

  • Solid full-stack experience with a frontend-heavy focus.

  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript (preferred core language).

  • Experience building products from scratch (0→1).

  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and an AI-first development approach.

  • Understanding of modern software architecture principles.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
