Business Development Manager

Full Time

Remote

Job Description

Manage the full merchant acquisition cycle across LATAM — from sourcing and outreach to deal closing and transaction launch. Build and drive the sales pipeline for high-risk verticals (iGaming, Forex, crypto), negotiate commercial terms with decision-makers, and support clients through integration and Go-Live.

About the Client

Manitist is a payment infrastructure platform built for global merchants entering Latin America. It provides seamless access to the region's most widely used local payment methods — PIX, Boleto, OXXO, SPEI, local wallets, and crypto. The platform is designed for high-risk and complex industries: gaming, fintech, crypto, and digital goods. Beyond payment acceptance, it handles compliance out of the box — AML/KYC, local regulations, fraud monitoring, and AI-based risk scoring. The goal is simple: remove card dependency, simplify market entry, and unlock new revenue in LatAm without the usual infrastructure headaches.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and acquire new merchants and partners across LATAM (Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and beyond).

  • Reach out to decision-makers (CEO, Head of Payments, COO, CFO) via LinkedIn, Telegram, email, and industry events.

  • Present and pitch payment solutions to prospective clients.

  • Negotiate rates, limits, rolling reserve, and settlement terms.

  • Coordinate with technical, compliance, and support teams during integration.

  • Track competitor rates, local payment methods, and market opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and reporting in CRM.

  • Represent the company at industry events (SiGMA, SBC, ICE, GAT Expo).

What We Are Looking For

  • 2–3+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships.

  • 1+ year working directly with the LATAM market.

  • Background in PSP, fintech, acquiring, banking, or crypto payments.

  • Experience with high-risk clients (iGaming, betting, Forex, crypto).

  • Existing network of merchant/PSP/aggregator contacts is a strong plus.

  • Understanding of local payment methods (PIX, SPEI, PSE, Mercado Pago, etc.) and basics of API integrations, transaction flows, and reconciliation.

  • English B2+; Russian - fluent ; Spanish - strong advantage.

  • Self-driven, strong negotiator, comfortable with ambiguity and multiple time zones.
